Have you ever felt like you had something important to say, but didn’t quite know how to say it? That’s how I felt for years until I discovered podcasting. In 2017, I made the decision to start my own podcast, and it completely changed my life. In this blog post, I want to share with you why I started podcasting, and how it has impacted me both personally and professionally.
Finding My Voice
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been passionate about storytelling. I love sharing my experiences and insights with others, but I struggled to find the right platform to do so. I tried blogging, vlogging, and even public speaking, but none of those mediums truly resonated with me.
Then, one day, I stumbled upon a podcast that felt like it was made just for me. The host was talking about a topic that I was deeply interested in, and I felt like I was part of the conversation. That’s when it hit me — podcasting could be the platform I had been searching for. I could use my voice to tell stories, share my thoughts, and connect with others in a way that felt authentic and meaningful.
So, I started brainstorming ideas for my own podcast. I wanted to create a show that would inspire and educate others, while also allowing me to explore my own passions. After weeks of planning and preparation, I launched my first episode in the summer of 2019.
The Power of Connection
One of the things I love most about podcasting is the ability to connect with people from all over the world. Through my show, I’ve been able to interview guests from different backgrounds and perspectives, and learn so much from their experiences.
But it’s not just about the guests — I’ve also been able to build a community of listeners who share my values and interests. I receive emails and messages from people who tell me how much they enjoy the show, and how it has impacted their lives in a positive way. That kind of feedback is incredibly rewarding, and it’s what keeps me motivated to keep creating new episodes.
Through my podcast, I’ve also been able to connect with other podcasters and content creators. We share tips and advice, collaborate on projects, and support each other in our creative endeavors…
